IBSONS ITI has been at the forefront of Technical Education in the Malappuram district under Amina Educational and Charitable Trust (Regd) .The Institute offering a wide range of courses in the area of Automobile Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Civil engineering, Electrical engineering etc. The main object of this Trust is the educational and cultural development of the muslim community and other backward classes in the educationally backward areas with special focus on the district of Malappuram, Kerala.

The Trust mainly intends Technical job oriented courses so as to get suitable employment to the Trainees and step up their living standard. The founder of the Trust, Mr. Ibrahim Haji, desires permanent activities in the field of education and charitable activities for the development of backward and minority classes of undeveloped areas and there by his eternal benefit in the other world. The Institute was started with one trade of carpentry. At that time there was lack of carpenters in this area and they are getting very high remuneration, while compared to other workers. The institution has recognized by the Technical Education Department, Govt of Kerala in 1975 and was the first institute in Malappuram District that has started Kerala Government Certificate course in Automobile Engineering. To start NCVT courses under this Institute, the founder has created a Charitable Trust in 1991 for permanent existence of Educational and Charitable Trust. At present the Institution comprises of Three ITIs and one upper primary aided school namely Amina ITI, IBSONS ITI, Nilambur ITI and Kaadampuzha Govt. UP School
